Single-Target Rotation Goals for Survival Hunter
- Maximizing Focus generated by casting Kill Command on cooldown, without ever letting it Focus cap you.
- Maximizing Focus spent on Mongoose Bite by never Focus capping. Ideally packing as much Focus as possible inside of Mongoose Fury windows.
- Maximizing the benefit of our Wildfire Bomb and its special effects offered by Wildfire Infusion.
4.
AoE Rotation Goals for Survival Hunter
- All the same goals as the single-target Rotation.
- Maximizing our Wildfire Bomb charge generation and reducingwasteage with Butchery and Fury of the Eagle and Ruthless Marauder.
5.
Single-Target Opener for Survival Hunter in Dragonflight
- Ensure Hunter's Mark is active on the target from you or anotherHunter in the group!
- Use Steel Trap shortly before combat, timing it so that it will landwhen the pulltimer hits 0. If you can pre-place it to where the boss is goingto move before combat, even better.
- Use any on-use Trinkets, as well as your Potion.
- Use a Wildfire Bombs to get it off two charges.
- Use a Mongoose Bites to get off the Focus cap.
- Use Death Chakram.
- Use Spearhead.
- Use 3x Mongoose Bites to stack up Deadly Duo fully.
- Use a Wildfire Bomb to prevent it reaching 2 charges.

- Maintain this loop until Spearhead ends, then proceed with your normal rotation.

Single-Target Rotation for Survival Hunter
This priority list describes the optimal single-target Rotation for Survival Hunter.
- Use Wildfire Bomb if it is about to reach 2 charges, and Spearheadis about to come off cooldown. We want to enter Spearhead with our Bombs out ofthe way so we can focus on Mongoose Bite and Kill Command!
- Use Wildfire Bomb if it is about to reach 2 charges. With Bombardier, you should dump your Bombs before entering Coordinated Assault, and before the end of it.
- Use Death Chakram if you arebelow 60 Focus orif Spearhead is available.or if Fury of the Eagle isavailable.
- Cast Spearhead on cooldown when you are above 60 Focus. Sync it with every 2nd use of Death Chakram.
- Use Kill Command at less than 72 Focus while Spearhead and Pheromone Bomb are active together, or if Deadly Duo has 3 stacks.
- When Spearhead is active, spam Mongoose Bite.
- Use Mongoose Bite if Mongoose Fury is going to expire within 1 GCD, or if the target is about to die.
- Use Kill Shot on cooldown. Do not cast it during Spearhead, however.
- Use Flanking Strike on cooldown if you are below 60 Focus.
- Use Pheromone Bomb when you have less than 30 Focus, to maximize your ability to spam Kill Command inside of it without Focus capping.
- Cast Kill Command if you are below 72 Focus and Flanking Strike is on cooldown
- Spam Mongoose Bite when Shrapnel Bomb is active, to stack the Internal Bleeding bleed.
- Cast Wildfire Bomb on cooldown, provided you are not currently Focus capped.
- Use Mongoose Bite during Mongoose Fury.
- Use Steel Trap on cooldown.
- Cast Mongoose Bite when thereis nothing else to do, as a filler.
