do you have a Haynes Manual or Chilton? if not check your local library, they may have one, the specs are in there

Those values and most everything else you need for DIY work are contained in the Haynes manual for your vehicle.We have one with each of our vehicles and not only give you the info needed to do repairs yourself but also get an idea of how much work a specific repair should (or shouldn't) cost.

You can also buy these from auto parts stores for a few dollars less and sometimes on eBay for even less.

You can find just about all of the torque specs that you should need here. Also you might want to order yourself a Chilton manual. They usually have all of the specs in the back of the book and throughout the different sections.

i don't know if that's correct for main bearing caps since another link states it's much higher
hopefully a GM guy will chime in to confirm the main bearing torque

main bearings torque is 18 ft lbs. plus 90 - 94 degrees, rod bearings torque is 13 - 16 ft lbs. plus 90 - 94 degrees.crankshaft damper bolt torque 80 - 94 ft lbs, fly wheel bolts torques 94 - 101 ft lbs.

connecting rod caps cracked type rod-rod and caps must be kept in matched sets, recommend new bolts/nuts, spec is 32 ft lb. plus 105 degrees - torque each item to the correct torque then go back and do the degrees. these are torque to yield bolts and the procedure is very important.
